Am typing this with teary eyes. :qq:

I love this series so much! It's the perfect kind of mundane, slow-burn story that somehow managed to keep me interested for 456 chapters. I have too many things to say, probably will write a proper review on somewhere else but I guess I'll say a few things.

Wintermelon!! Once again, you were the best! You were there for them from the beginning and was there to help take care of the kids from far away with your watchful eyes. Thank you Wintermelon for your service.

Xu Qing and Jiang He, I really thought you guys were going to have five kids. I miss the Deng Tuzi jokes during the last 100 or so chapters? Good for you guys for having a stable relationship out of the trio albeit the unique dynamic of solving problems between the two of you.

Xu Jin, Xu Sh'ian, thanks for being such good kids for your parents.

XiaoXiao! Congratulations on holding on to your childhood sweetheart for 20~ish years? Impressive.

Wang Zi and Qi Hao, you guys are the best trio. Always got each other backs and covering for each other's shortcomings. Glad you got back together with your wife, both of you really.

Xu Qing's mom and dad! Thank you for believing in your son. Thank you for supporting the couple. I loved the dad's banter with Xu Qing.

Lastly, thank you to the people responsible for bringing such a mundane masterpiece to my life! I had honestly given up hope on finding a partner. I've got problems to deal with and decided to tough it all alone and probably won't ever be able to solve it but this series magically gave me hope. I think it was back when they first got the kids? The panel of Wintermelon watching over the newborns' cradle, caring over them.

That scene hit me like a truck. They have kids now. They are getting older. Time passes in this manhua. Wintermelon is careful with the kids. But they are still romantics.

It gave me hope, strength to pick myself back up, be better and maybe once again, try looking again out there.

Thank you author, artists, translator for this series!

P.S: I looped Christina Perri's "A thousand years" for the last 100 chapters and holy shit it hit so much harder. Every heart-warming scene became warmer, every loss such as those of loved ones or even time passing hit harder. The title and lyrics itself with the thousand years fits itself way too well lol. A wife from a Thousand years ago. Peace!

The type of work that got you thinking where you watched and follow the characters journey for a part of your life from when they first met at the beginning and follow them to the end of it. As the characters of MWIFTYA watched you growing up reading their stories from being a Highschool student to college student or from a college student to a working adult, now their story has ended, they are grateful of you for following their journey and bid you a last beautiful farewell. We did the same and thank them for the journey, as we moved on with our lives with their story we experienced and hopefully finding a new perspective on how we live our own life. this is really a long ride. I really want to give a big thanks to the goat Scanlator and everyone involved for producing this peak until the end. And like what Scanlator's note has said, hopefully a Anime studio from China or Japan can pick this up, because the story is just that peaked and easy to milk in the long run anyway. Until then all of you take care and live a long happy life✌️.

and so.. the story end there... might as well return to being depressed now i feel guilty and quite sad that i wasnt there to read and watch all the characters slowly unraveling and growing up, this manhua actually mightve helped me accept time and life more, ive never been so open as to write a small review and thanks but here i am, i hope this gets light and adapted into something bigger soon, im in the mood to yap and yap, wished this had a community server where everyone shared something in common, do anyone know whos the author for these im willing to be a fan :meguuusad: :meguuusad: :meguuusad: :meguuusad: :meguuusad:

WELP GUYS, thats the end. We've known from the beginning that every start has an end and it seems like it has arrived, its been a wild ride while reading this + reading the comments sections in most of the chapter that i've read, the story was very slice of life and slow pace, but thats what daily life looks like.

It had both goods and bad which is really realistic for a story. Its quite a journey since we're like parent watching them growing up slowly and then having kids, and then their kids having kids.... sure is one helling of a feeling to have as it makes you question your own values and time spent on things

One last thing, I really appreciate the dedication by the Paragon Scans that started this first chapter and then continue till the series ending, which was freaking 4 years... It's basically unheard of that a team that started the first chapter managed to continue and bring it till the end, which i think is not praised on enough, working on it honestly brought the team alot more closer with the character itself. So once again, thank you for bringing this series to the entire english audience!

Only at the end only did it start to progress again, oh well its been a great ride guys, see ya when i see ya in whatever manga we read next! :salute:

I started reading this when I was in high school and graduated in 2025 and now is over what a wild ride this has been I loved every single second of it. Every chapter I always saw the comments but never posted one so now here I am. Thank you to the author, paragon scans and to the community for leaving comments I could read and laugh at. I love all of you and wish you the best.
Oh my god me too twin . I also started reading this in 2025 and graduated from high school. I still remember how I used to read this in my board exam to relief my tensions and anxiety. It's kinda hurting me seeing my fav characters getting old and make me scared too I mean we all going to be old one-day but when I actually think of it its really scare me. Owh time really goes very fast, from discovering a manwha about time travel and a young couple to seeing them getting old and also I was in high school now I'm in college literally everything changes I don't have the routine don't have the same friends don't have the same day but Life is still great but not the same. Anyways twin I don't know who you are where you live but I just want to see you happy, safe sound. I hope you are having great time enjoying your youth. God bless you ❤️

Haha time really goes very fast it's kinda scary too but it's what makes life LIFE. Don't be sad that it ended but be grateful that it happened, it's not only about the manga it's about everything in your life that's already ended that's happening now and that's going to happen . God bless you ❤️
