The GHG manhua is finally here!! You guys are really fast, only a day after the first chapter’s release? But thank you for translating!!

For new readers who didn’t look at the tags and only the summary, this is indeed a BL, so if you don’t like BL feel free to click off. But for those who do, keep in mind we don’t get actual romance for a while xd GHG is very plot-focused novel and the manhua will probably be as well. Keep in mind this was adapted from a web novel which are usually very long (GHG is a total of 589 chapters) so it may very well take years to get finished (like ORV) but trust me when I say this is one of the best novels I’ve read from the characters, plot, story, and plot twists. So please stay for the next update! The english fandom is small… (We should be seeing the next member of the Bai Liu’s team soon! Mu Sicheng!!)

PS: If you really like GHG there is more of this genre!! The only other unlimited flow novel that has been adapted to a manhua that I can think of off the top of my head is Global Examination. The rest are only just novel form.

I can only think of that one too. I hope this gets popular and leads to more horror/mystery BL webnovel adaptations or at least physical book releases. As much as I like cultivation setting, I like other settings too. I think Thriller Trainee would be another good one to get a manhua adaptation.

Look, I get that this character is supposed to be portrayed as a douchebag, but it really irks me when authors put in actually severe stuff as if it is something casual. This guy just lost a molar, that is permanent disfigurement and definitely a lawsuit. Sometimes authors also like to have the evil characters just casually try to attempt murder, something that would land them in prison no matter what the outcome, and it is just done so casually.

Answer me this. If the baddies in this fictional universe were free to do stuff like this at a whim, then how does society even function here? Everyone would have their teeth punched out, since this is apparently a normal thing that doesn't warrant police or the judicial system. What about other kinds of assault or abuse?

I'm not asking for hyper-realism in a fantasy story, but at least make it somewhat believable, geez..

Unfortunately it’s a bad writing troupe, akin to a crutch. It gets the point across and makes the audience dislike the character.
