Hey, who thought it'd be a good idea to make enemy faction members work on the same project?
Also, it's for Cthulhu, right? Why is Hastur here? Wouldn't that be a direct conflict of interest? Or are they working together to spread 'Lovecraft' or 'Eldritch Horror' in general?
Either way, this is going to go terribly... Unless Lilith pulls out some special skills or competency out of nowhere. They have 700 years to accomplish this mission; Lilith should just go elsewhere and not waste her time on this.. Unless she just has it out for Sonia.
The poison might be a bluff, but it's pretty reasonable to assume that it's true.
A goal.. Somehow befriend Lilith. Getting rid of her with the magic kill-switch hostage won't be very practical, unless she's ordered to leave by a superior.
