Yeah... the thing with algorithms like that is that they will not work thanks to High frequency trading. There are investment firms that set up machines near the exchange with the fastest processors available (see Intel Black Ops) just to get a tiny latency advantage that will let them intercept any feeble attempts at botting the market.
