YO.... What happened to him... I had the same experience omfg it was terrifying.... I too slept in a bunkbed(and at the top too) but the shadow person... instead of between the protection wall... it was standing really tall up and tilting towards me so we were almost head on head and... what really upsets me is that even though we were so up close towards each other I couldn't see nothing other than a shape of a person... no eye, no nose, no hair or clothes... Just a dark shadow... And since I was already lying down, I just gasped and covered myself on the covers like a kid lmao... I don't even know how much time passed until I could peek out but GOD It was scary.

Even now, a decade or so later I still don't know if it was someone on the house or not... :'(

Same experience, but I realised it happens when I enter this half asleep state where I can't move and everything feels lucid. Basically sleep paralysis but with hallucinations, it has evolved into now showing me my friends or family members coming to me and laughing or morphing into monsters. I find this experience kinda entertaining now.

as i was staying up late one night playing games on my phone a bunch of white tendrils apeared and started trying to grab me.
i think it was a mix of my overactive imagination the phone screen being a beacon in the dark room and me being tired. anyways that woke me up and i hanged out in the living room for a while after that and then slept with the lamp on.
not anywhere near as scary as seeing my sisters face poking out of a door frame grining then going into the dark room laughing.... my sister was spending the night at her friends house that day i still have problems being in a dark house alone bc of that
