My only sort-of-gripe for this chapter is with the artist.

We see that Gazu has retained his side braid, even though the kidnappers changed him into "slave clothes".

Dunno. Just found it funny. Like, the braid is part of his being, like fingernails.

In reality, the artist probably just missed this bit of weirdness and simply drew the kid "as dictated by his character design".

Even if it's not gonna get axed, I highly doubt they'll get it all adapted to manga. These sorts of adaptations tend to find a good point to end on and just direct you to the light novel for if you want to continue reading the story. An ad, basically.

Tbf that was part of a flashback so it could've been taken away from him so he didn't use the tooth necklace to try to cut through rope or so (crest orders aside)

I meant more that it's weird for the braid to have retained its structural integrity after all he's been through.

Thank you so much for your hard work translating! This is a cute manga, i love that we have a fed up office worker lady being the one to look after things for once -w- and shes sooo cute too! I love Inari-san, hes very cute and just the right level of mischievous. I wonder If that guy who came running towards her wasn’t actually one of the bandits, but was someone trying to stop them? Since he didn’t seem to be in the bunch being attacked…. The kids are also very cutes, i hope they can go back to their families soon- or their families come to help out with the mountain!
