as promised in the previous chapter, i will share spoilers from summary Light Novel Volume 2 =

WARNING : Please Don't Click if you Hate Spoiler

Point: Arcus who reincarnated and became Eleonor’s attendant to dodge her bad ending has to face that entering the academy will separate them. Unexpectedly, he finds a way into the Knight Class and even graduates as a top student that’s volume two in a nutshell. Unlike the original route, Ema (the original protagonist) also ends up in Knight Class, and even though Arcus remembers the “main story,” lots of things are already off-script. As usual, Eleonor’s love is… very yandere. By the end, Arcus gets “marked” by her. He also relies on Eleonor a lot, so yeah, it’s a mutual-dependence thing.

★ Arcus doesn’t want to feel powerless like five years ago, so he trains like crazy. He’s now strong enough to beat the Unshiness family’s Knight Leader.

★ Eleonor Unshiness turns 15 and preps for the Royal Litecia Academy entrance exam. She wants Arcus to apply too, but he refuses at first the fees are steep. He calms her, saying he’ll wait for her return. That night she gets sad about the looming separation and, after some liqueur-chocolate, uses her ability to hold Arcus in place. He gently uses sleep magic so she can rest; she falls asleep by his side. (Sanitized for minors.)

★ Staff at House Unshiness suggest Arcus join the Knight Class so he can stay near Eleonor. He didn’t even know that class existed in this otome-game world. He asks Adelbeiter (Eleonor’s dad) for permission; Adelbeiter warns living costs are huge and a butler’s pay won’t cover it. Arcus doubles down: he’ll win a merit scholarship in the entrance exam.

★ Eleonor’s thrilled he’ll take the test. At her inn, Arcus is told to stay in Eleonor’s room so he rests well. He insists on the sofa; she has him “just try the mattress”… and he wakes up the next morning having slept like a log thanks to a bit of sleep magic. She teases him; Arcus doesn’t get the joke. (Sanitized.)

★ Exam day: Eleonor tests with the nobles, Arcus with the Knight Class. The Knight queue is massive becoming a knight can change your status. While waiting, Arcus finds a slip with the name Ema Helena familiar, but he can’t place it.

★ Arcus aims for top score to snag that scholarship:

 • Magic: perfect wind shot examiners are stunned.

 • Sword: he defeats an active knight examiner.

 • Team battle: his random teammates are Ema Helena (which is weird she should be the Saint-route heroine, not Knight Class) and Reine Deon (baron family). Ema’s a magic type with a spark skill that just dazzles foes (Arcus remembers it should weaken demons / strong heal, but here it’s only a flash). Reine’s a sword talent with charm. They win: two enemies get caught by charm + spark; the last nearly eats Arcus’s finisher before the examiner stops it as too dangerous. Arcus earns the nickname “Test Breaker.”

★ After the exam, Arcus chats with his teammates on the way to Eleonor unaware Eleonor’s been watching. She immediately asks about “those two girls.” Jealousy flares; she blinds him with her ability for a moment, and he comes to on her lap, lightly restrained. To calm her, he says they’re not his type, adding he actually prefers older women. She goes quiet not mad, but she doesn’t unbind him right away.

★ First day of class, Arcus ends up in the same class as Ema. She guides him in; everyone’s in awe from his exam feats and pepper him with questions. Ema rescues him by reminding the room the teacher’s about to arrive.

★ After school, Arcus bumps into someone who’s polite until the guy grabs his bag and stares him down. It’s Razer Killmond, the troublemaker from Eleonor’s birthday who got kicked out of House Killmond. Life’s roughened him up; he challenges Arcus to a duel on the spot.

★ Meanwhile, Eleonor is the center of attention in the noble class she also topped their entrance scores. Colette Holden introduces herself and asks to be friends. A merchant’s son butts in, praising Eleonor while dissing the Knight-Class ace as “way below” her. Eleonor’s dark aura chills the room: “Don’t bad-mouth Arcus in front of me.” Hearing Arcus will duel an A-Rank Seeker, she rushes to the arena.

★ After being disowned, Razer learned how brutal life is earning his own money, losing his savings, almost dying as a Seeker. He still resents Arcus for “ruining his cushy life.” They fight; Razer swings with pure power but poor technique. Arcus dodges/parries everything and taps his neck guard cleanly KO, Arcus wins.

★ Post-fight, Eleonor bear-hugs Arcus as he leaves the infirmary, terrified he was hurt. He promises no more duels she relents, as long as he fights in front of her.

★ Later, Arcus finds Ema practicing sword alone. She complains about sloppy form and constant scolding from Kiril Geister (homeroom/sword teacher). Arcus helps with footwork, then asks why she chose Knight Class. Ema says she idolized a female knight from her village. He gently probes about the Saint thing; she says she’s not Saint material “A Saint should be beautiful, kind, and super capable.” Arcus encourages her that she fits the bill, which she misreads as a confession cue blushing.

★ When Arcus goes to meet Eleonor, she scolds him for getting too close to Ema and “marks” his neck to claim him.

thank you for translating
Thank you for the spoiler. Anyway, I got two simple questions. Hopefully you willingly to answer it, dude :3

1. Did the novel was ended or still ongoing? Or, the original was ended while the fan translation still ongoing?
2. Did the story, as far as you read, got harem, just potential harem, or our FL singly? Did Arcus an denial one? Or did he recognizes our FL feeling on him?

Again, thank you for the spoiler :win:

The spoilers in the first post make it sound like by the second volume he's aware that she has feelings for him, where in the manga he's dense to the extreme.

2.for now, it's likely that only ema is fall in love with MC. but arcus doesn't have any romantic feelings for any heroine other than eleanor, and MC is also not yet fully aware of his love for eleanor. he still thinks about staying away from death route according to the game.

When do they... like... actually get together?

Typo on p. 9, lastest bubble "beaecause" -> "because"
My enjoyment of all this romance crap always reminds me that I am to die alone. The protagonist drives himself to get stronger to protect the one he loves. I don't do anything and will never have anyone. I hate my job and it hates me back, the same goes for my family. Even including those settings, I know no one. The different characters of my workplace and family are only superficial expressions of the objective structures, they have no substantial subjective character. I am certain of this because I can't recall a single thing any of them have said that wasn't about responsibilities at work or home. Instead everything's money and "pick up that can." No one exists outside of those few artists that haven't sold theirself to capital (publishing one's work as a mangaka, Patreon-begging as a translator). In pop culture this same concept exists in an unstudied, vulgar form as Soul vs. Soulless, among other things like OC vs. Stealing, or NPCs, Slop, and so on.

Sounds to me like you're going through quite a rough patch. I used to think like that. Still do at different times. Now, I could go on and on about the usual: don't give up, tomorrow will be better, you have to think positively, etc.
I was honestly tired of hearing it, so I bet you are too. Instead, I'll get straight to the solution that finally worked in my case. In short: Jesus Christ. Now, I know what you're probably thinking: "Stop shoving your religion down my throat..."
Yup, I was the same for a long time so I get it. Humor me. I personally can't know what your standing is when it comes to the subject, but from what you described, it sounds like you're a man without hope. First tip don't look at other Christians, look at God. A lot of professing Christians are hypocrites and aren't worth your time. Jesus Christ however is exactly what need. Pure, just, without deceit, loving and loyal. Now, to get to know Him, it's best to get back to the very roots. Not pastors or priests, but the Bible. If you're unsure of the authenticity of Scripture, just google/ask ai about it. The Bible is the most historically proven book in history, with tons of manuscripts and pieces of manuscripts dating back to the first century (New Testament) and even further back (Old Testament).
I'd recommend starting in the Gospel of John, because it's a great introduction to who Jesus was and what He did.

If you have nothing to lose, and you've exhausted other options, what's the harm in giving it a try? Besides, Romans 10:17 says: "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ."

If you don't have the Bible at home, you can download it for free on your phone. You can start with NIV, it's a fine translation. You've made being in a relationship your idol, the be-all and end-all. It was the same for me, and it's hard to change. I struggle with it even now. But ultimately, I know my reason for living isn't to be with someone. If God's willing, I'll find a partner. If not, all glory to Him, because I can focus more on His word and live for Him.
