This explains a lot why a lot of beastmen are unemployed starving addicts if their society discriminates them this much and blocks them from various job opportunities.
The game is, apparently, old-and Yani-Neko's sister is in regular highschool...
so this is like playing a 1950s version of the Game of Life where it talks about not mixing races and how its important to keep separate swimming pools-
wait.
Why the fuck are they playing this

Because they're unemployed society discriminates blocked from job opportunities, so they don't have money to buy excess items (such as board games), so they play the one they found in a trash (probably thrown away by landlord).

UPD: Hameko's triple monitor gaming PC setup is a... a tool of production as a streamer, so it is not an item of excess :worry:

I dunno, man. I think I'm gonna go ahead and judge them by their generally awful character.

If only being a chainsmoking layabout was a marketable skill... I'd have been a thoroughly productive teenager!

Maybe not as a daily or even monthly thing, but wouldn't you be curious to consume out-dated media that demonizes you every once in a blue moon, for shit and giggles? There's a morbid sort of curiosity to it.

Beastmen are pretty great second-class citizens.

1. They have crazy and useful combat abilities, but as far as we can tell, they aren't considered hyper-dangerous to have walking freely, and as far as crime rates, we don't see them going around clubbing old people in the back of the head and mugging them.

2. They descend from an advanced space civilization, but are mostly simple hedonists whose nuisance antics are balanced out by their cuteness and fun.

3. This simple hedonism is reflected in their relatively easy going attitude about the past.
