Feels like they kinda jumped the gun (no pun intended)
If humans are now garbage to them, wouldn't the professor be also garbage and underserving of love, but the robots clearly show respect to him so I'm not sure why they would want to kill all humans.

I predict that when the robots see the clones, they would realise that they shoudn't kill all humans or they would only let the clones survive.
