i really love how sei was was encouraged to be with loved ones again despite the hardship it may ensue, and when anyone tries to take back his freedom and harm his people to fight back against them. seeing ash in banana fish ultimately submit to idea that everyone was better off without him, was shattering cuz we knew eiji still needed him. so i really hope this manga goes in a different direction. but you never know with yoshida
