It's because that type of joke isn't funny when repeated unlike some other jokes in this series

And as much as i agree with you, i honestly know why Author can't really change his joke, and it's simply because its that character personality already which unfortunately, if suddenly changed, it'll ended up being jarring which i think it's the reason why he doesn't show up as much halfway through, since other characters are more interesting than his 1 dimensional "i love loli! and my friend is a loli now and i love him!"
