Can't they phase through walls and get people even if they arent outside? If it was just Nanakusa I could theorize it being a vampire born exclusive thing but one of them phased through the detectives knife a while ago.

The whole point is to be discrete so no one expects to find out vampires exist, which is why they create situations for humans to inadvertently give them their blood. Whether it's waiting for them to fall asleep and then taking it, like Nazuna's method, or being a doctors/ nurse at a hospital like Kabura where she's around blood bags

Was gonna say the same, with their numbers so low, it wouldn't even work at all. People would forget even faster, heck even now after it was well known people died way before vaccine got introduced, claim it is the vaccine that killed people... sheesh...
