Meh, I don't like the detective. Her first experience with a vampire was good. Just because her dad was a retard she's going ham on all vampires?
She's a detective that they make out to be extremely good at her job and smart, but here she is with all this information on all these vampires yet she doesn't realize they aren't all that bad?
She's just a retard in the end. Also there's no way she can take on vampires as a human, the whole "Prized possession from being human" trope is too forced, no way she'd be able to even get close to a vampire to make shit like that work without deception. Even then it's far fetched.
