Am I the only who feels like we never saw him actually develop feelings for her. It feels like he just spontaneously obtained feelings feelings for her for arbitrary plot reasons while only being annoyed with her every step of the way.

To clarify, reasonably, the progress would be along the lines of...

3. I guess I can tolerate this.

Romcom 101 is that she can be a total bitch, but just one or two tender moments + big jugs and/or ass make him forget everything. In theory, she can literally hold him by the balls for nearly everything, but the minute she gets sad, instant forgiveness.
