Idk, “needle in school bread” bread sounds outright targeted, not unlucky but yikes I wonder if one would’ve gotten a lawsuit out of it

Must be sucky to hear someone casually say die even if it’s not directed towards the person themselves but I feel like some teens would milk it for all it’s worth , at the very least I’d think the classmates would know if he was in the hospital unless it was over a break/holiday

It might sound crazy, but the light novel that was translated into my first language also says the same thing. There were also some incidents like this worldwide at the time the novel was written, especially with bread made in factories (from which the bread he is eating surely came).
