I’m very glad I didn’t reach the deaths when I started this at work because I am BAWLING. I know this might sound horrible but I’m glad this kept with the ending of both dying. I’ve read many series with the same plot and usually one or the other miraculously survive. Now, while it’s beautiful that they find life in the others death, it also really tampers the build up and climax in my opinion. This actually managed to do both at options without killing the emotional damage, well played.
