@ZeeVee Just read the novel, the "harem" aspect is just a long running gag and the MC himself doesn't really pay attention to it. The women themselves have bigger roles and aren't just there as a joke or love interest. In fact pretty much all named characters that Vandelieu comes across gets something to do and isn't just -"harem member #69" or -"inconsequential NPC #420".
@Metasepia - the sexual dimorphism was there in the original novel. Not that there is any reason for it.
Ghoul women running in animal-like manner is already an improvement.
Well, I like them looking like that anyway.
@ZeeVee - well, in case you didn't notice, MC is surviving using his only power - death magic. It's a pretty versatile power. For example, today a tribe of ghouls kneed before him for no apparent reason, because they are affected by his "death-attribute charm" passive ability.
The real change is, MC is not just "surviving" anymore - he is thriving in his new environment.
He has already begun his career as Dark Lord at this point.
@Kaarme - the basis of this strategy is that ghouls are just more powerful than most opponents. Ghouls and are naturally rank 3, compared to rank 2 kobolds and rank 1 goblins. And advanced ghouls like Zadiris and Vigaro are up to rank 5.
And they have good gear too. So even if they don't have advantage in numbers, it's a winnable fight.
And a surprise attack is almost as good as an ambush.
@TheFlash080 There is both a webnovel and a lightnovel version , although the LN is mostly just a re-edit of the WN, as the WN was already pretty welly written. Only the WN has a fan translation, at some point some company might pick up the LN.
Honestly I didn't expect Tarea to look like that; bosom apart, isn't she also supposed to be quite muscular ? But as expected of her, her ghouls are very well equipped, they look very cool !
