My theory is that it's another Yotsuha because of the revelation that she "also killed him" and the four leaf clover motif.

I'm not really sure why the other Yotsuba wants to kill MC, but it can because she wants to end MC's suffering by just killing him. I think this Yotsuba is one that has seen almost every route, and it all ends with the MC still killing himself because he keeps attracting bad things his way.

It's kinda like euthanasia in a sense, but in a pretty fucked up way because now you're making bad things happen to him just to speed up his death.

or maybe the alternate yotsuba theory that like 50 people have mentioned already
regardless I hope the author actually knows the answer already and it's not gonna be like some of the other "mystery" manga out there where they're obviously just winging it

I wonder if the author would do the same thing twice. A Supposed friend, who likes Yotsuba and wants to get rid of the main because of it, seems rather repetitive. Also if we think about a mastermind he wouldn't help someone who wants the same girl except blaming him at the end to get her.
Also, another time traveler would make the Story pretty Paradoxical, what would be the point of the Mastermind being a time traveler if that power would amount to nothing since he wouldn't change the path Yotsuba is on but would create a different one.
So I think the best bet is a Family member or some one envious of the main.

probably, her transfering to his school happens in the original timeline too, but she was too afraid to stand up to the bullying for his sake and ended up just watching until he kills himself then gets the watch and tries to fix it
