I mean, even if she erases the symbol, I really don't think they're just going to leave her alone. It's not that easy to escape from royalty and politics.
There's a reason why culling all remaining members of a royal family was considered the prudent choice; so you don't end up with anyone with any form of legitmacy vying for the throne later on.
