That's just how the story has been going. Captain is the focus of the chapter. Talks about their worries, insecurities, and how they want to be of use for their childhood friend, the one guy holding the entire group together. They look at our MC and feel inadequate. MC has a heart to heart with them after, he says or does something he feels is insignificant, and the captain he's speaking with draws a renewed source of inspiration from it. One that changes their outlook on life, and abilities on the battlefield.holy exposition dump
It 5he way the story is formatted, we get a chapter of the mc point of view working with/helping someone then the next chapter are the same events from the character he was working with/helpingam i in a time loop? i feel like i already read this some weeks ago
You miss one point: story from narrator/reader pov or conclusion before change to another captain. It 5he way the story is formatted, we get a chapter of the mc point of view working with/helping someone then the next chapter are the same events from the character he was working with/helping
