Very cute character, decent art, had interesting tactics in fights. But I don't get why the Myriad guys had a sort of redemption. Myriad took kids who were illegally turned into slaves. Instead of freeing these kids, they were sold off to other people, including a person who was suspected of being a legendary monster who eats children? The axe and rushed ending makes it harder to give a full explanation or development, but

apparently the LN didnt go any further than two volumes and the cliffhanger was

so not knowing the exact reason behind it, it's beter that the manga ended this way instead of stopping when that happens
