This is such an amazing soliloquy from Kaera. Lots of guys and gals put themselves down by overly identifying with a self-identified aspect of themselves and lock themselves into a type of behavior just because they see themselves doing it. It's great if it's something beneficial, like envisioning yourself as someone who regularly works out in order to convince yourself to start, but it's also the gateway to spiraling, self-destructive or self-sabotaging behavior. Like, nah man, just because you were an introvert at one point doesn't mean you're locked into the penance of "introvert recoveree," like one, that's just puberty, but even apart from that, what's wrong with having different phases of your life? Just because you see yourself as an ex-introvert doesn't mean you aren't allowed to enjoy things an introvert would, and vice versa.
