Your favorite character design

I just want to discuss some characters design.

First one of my favorite is the simple office worker type. Their design so simple and yet work so well, like Kira Yoshikage, Kento Nanami, Larry, and Kishibe. Fuck those middle age man design are so common and yet so good. They stand alone for being ordinary in weird world

are you talking about the visual only or the whole character design?

from what I understand, "character design" involves a more complex scope than just visual design
like the background story, personality, trait, recognizability, etc.

I don't know who Larry is (or which one is it, I mean this one is also Larry)
but from what you listed, you like 'brooding, stoic, tall, suit-clad males, preferable ripped but not bulky, around age 30-35, in realistic artstyle'

and genre plays a big role here
I mean, if you open an office romance story, then everyone there is a "simple office worker" type.

If we're talking about visual, lately I find myself liking fairly tall protag with muscular build, i.e. Noru from Subete o Parry Suru and Rick from Shinmai Ossan Boukensha.
Oh, and also Gene from God Hand (PS2). Almost forgot that before hitting post reply.

love garou from OPM not too big and bulky like a generic anime bodybuilder but still is quite muscular but more on the skinny side
