Yes that's really ridiculous.

If everyone was allowed to be "out" at work (about their alpha/omega status) it'd just be a simple one way traffic triangle Tang Chao could sort out or at least not accidently perpetuate. Alas, they all have a case of the dumbs because Society.

Quin Chu has just enough ammo to meddle or worse - become a full on blackmailer - but would be risking a cold war mutual destruction scenario since she has her own big secret that could ruin her career. Tang Chao is running cover with her beta talk when zero in their trio are betas... further contributing to the gallant alpha persona that's like catnip to the hidden omegas in the vicinity. And Zhixu is needing every assist in keeping her secret since she both thinks she's super smart and avoided trouble until now while also shedding evidence everywhere like an idiot for some reason. Not sure how long they'll keep this going. Either one more chapter or thirty more.

at the end of the day secrets like this are hard to keep forever so think of it as being found out eventually! you lot are acting as if you are masters at keeping secrets give me a break! your just reading the story so you think you will act different but because you are reading the story not because you all are soooo intelligent at not leaving clues behind LOOOOL

It's possible to enjoy a story while still poking fun at it when a character or writer derps. And lots of people have real life experience at being in the closet at work for different reasons and with various degrees of risk to careers and need to be smart about it. It's one of the reasons a story like this is compelling.

Discarding omega meds at the workplace in the changing rooms where no omegas should be is a little more than an 'oops my bad' mistake. It's not a mixed area where being careless can be excused and she just had bad luck from someone was snooping. It's where anyone finding it would see it as a red flag and trigger everyone there getting a more invasive background check. She's actually lucky a different hidden omega found it and equally doesn't want to escalate that particular line of questioning either.

Even so, anything progressing the story is welcome to me at this point. Odd choices like that included. Something needs to break the current holding pattern.
