i do appreciate how our ML isn't seething with jealousy because of Mei. yeah she's another unfortunate soul FL brought in but he's not pressed cause he knows that FL is a charitable soul. ofc the same possibly couldnt be said if Mei were a guy, but ive seen ML's jealous regardless of gender before too
