Oh, the tamer country recognizes Phantasmas. Yes! I was hoping for it, but didn't actually expect that. Especially not so soon. Washes the aftertaste of chapter 1 away.

This chapter was actually quite great.
A bit strange though that he'd never have encountered other tamers in the former country wondering why their familiars suddenly went crazy.

i think the word should be monster instead of demons, since we know there are things like devils, or you could probably use the word beast or mystic beast

A bit strange though that he'd never have encountered other tamers in the former country wondering why their familiars suddenly went crazy.

I mean he did mention that he didn't see much demons tamed in his previous country, and if he took only one of them while going to the guilds like he did in first chapter with Claire - it would probably limit the "potency of reaction" if you will.

I on the other hand love the 1st chapter. MC is an oshi of a squad of phantasms stans. Country had multiple occasions to realise his OPness, but not only they didn't, they actually ridiculed him and forced him to move to a country far enough that the "rumours" about him wouldn't teach it. MC left, his stan-squad left with him, the country goes into ruin, phantasms be like "fuck em". Its pure comedy.
