Reading this makes me wonder how farcical and obnoxious fan service targeted at boys must seem to women given how obviously lame this girl-targeted one is to me haha

Reading this makes me wonder how farcical and obnoxious fan service targeted at boys must seem to women given how obviously lame this girl-targeted one is to me haha

It goes both ways, but this series is labelled seinen meaning its tailored to adult men.

IMO it does a good job tugging the strings of us men, tailoring to that aspect of us having to hide vulnerabilities. Same goes for the FMC tho.

As a sidenote, for those wondering to pick up the series, go ahead its a 19s romance story between two very different class types/wealth status, and how they heal each other through their interactions.

Counterintuitive as it may seem, whether a manga is labeled shonen/seinen/josei is based entirely on what magazine it is published in, not it's content.

For my tastes, the first chapter leaned so hard into the domineering "bad boy" fantasy it bordered on parody and the rest just came off as cartoonish. As an overall experience, this is much more in line with typical shoujo than seinen.

Sometimes it feels like wishing for realistic character writing in manga is just cruel a joke at my expense.

well I read till chap-8
did like it but the romance between Mc & Fmc felt too fast
kinda hard to accept tbh
but i guess it's fine though a little bit more built-up would have been great
