Do the Hercules gang even realize or care that in human world people need to do shit to put food on the table. At the very least somebody has to grow the crops, or somebody smart enough to invent something that nobody will ever have to do it manually. Otherwise when all humans are possessed by the Nightmares and they just goof off all day, nobody is going to have the stamina to do the work and the body will starve and die.

That's just the basics human needs, we're not even talking about the entire human societal infrastructure, advanced technology, natural disaster etc.
