It's selling fairly decently, first volume sold around 9k physical volumes, second 7k, and third 6k or something iirc. I don't think it's getting axed any time soon. Weekly manga has a little higher sales requirements than monthly, but weekly shounen magazine doesn't have the same requirements as jump.
The artist has a fairly big following on twitter, even though he's a newbie.

Also the manga is peak too. This is the kinda anime I would love in 2015 and surprised it still works in 2025.
