Certainly the largest "unrealism" of the series is the depiction of dreams having any sort of realistic narrative flow. Not to say I'm not enjoying it, but going into this chapter shortly after waking up highlights this kind of "disparity."

Wow that meetup was fast. 2 chapters in and they've met irl. Wonder how much more they can even do in the dream world now.

This is WSJ after all, the first arc development needs to be fast and exciting to hype the reader, avoid low ranking and getting axed. WSJ is the harshest comic book publisher in the world.

You just haven't dreamt vividly enough. I have seen dreams of past and even of future events that have happened exsactly. I learned to fly in dreams. I dreamed the same dream but it continued. If you just have strong enough imagination you can dream what ever.
Of course in this manga they have the magic device that let's them control the dream.

It is actually a memory implanting device future tech disguised as a romcom.
Yes the past will not change, but by giving them "dreams" / a.k.a. simulations direct to the brain, they might actually be able to fall in love.

No that is not a dream, that is an imprint and a demon is haunting you.

Be it a curse or a gift. I truly believe I have dreamed of future events. For the past 4 years a have constantly had cases where I have felt Deja-vu aka feeling you have been/done that before. It always is unexpected but when it happens usually a year after the dream I just cat explain it any other way. Usually it's new places where I have never been. Or once it was a very specific character movement in a video game. [insert Queen's song "I'm going slightly mad" so you don't need to feel so worried] tee hee

to be honest the premise so far stand strong... quite promising if the author want to prolong the series as long as he didn't spoil the moment like this in future... looking forward to the future chapter.. thanks for the upload

Since his goal is to have new life experiences and change himself then MC needs to learn new things in his sleep, like crochet or how to use the 3 seashells. IYKYK. :meguusmug:

Certainly, but that's omniscient 3rd person knowledge. And while they are coming to realizations in the current chapter, at this point both thought it was a playful chance to pretend to do something different.

For me, it was coming into this chapter after having a dream that I caught a scorpion, put it in a jam jar, poked holes into the lid, tossed it from a boat in the middle of a clear lake, and after it sank to the bottom, saw it open the lid from the inside and proceed to crawl along the lake bed...Reading a chapter where they do a number of regular run of the mill date activities is the most out of place thing I could come across.

Just wanna know, how long do you have to sleep to get a dream long enough so that you can spend a whole school day, go out on a date and also watch a whole movie till the night time!

I hardly get to experience a total of 1 hour in my 8 hours of sleep 🤔
