Wow, even for this manga this arc is just plain shit. Easily one of the most overused troupes in drama+romance. Fuck it, I don't even care if she marries the guy. Case and point, ironically in the first 13 chapters of this manga itself someone already tried to forcefully marry Yuuna. I get it's just a rom-com ecchi but my goodness, how unoriginal can this author be if already did an arc just like this in the same manga.

A lesbian tyrannosaurus rex coming back as a ghost trying to woo Yuuna would have been better than this. Hah, I'm hoping it's at least a set-up for an overreaching arc. Like it's the prelude to a war between the 3 major families.

@Akemua If it does end up being a prelude to a war between the three families, I might actually forgive this arc for being an extremely cliched piece of shit. But that's a pretty big "might", because at this point, it really wouldn't surprise me in the least if the author pulled this crap at least once for every girl in Yuuragi-sou. I guess the only thing we can look forward to in that case will be how the author will top the previous fiancee's asshole qualities; it's a little sad, though, that the only instance of this arranged marriage cliche that I can think of off the top of my head where the fiancee wasn't a complete asshole was from a parody.

@Vincentius It's sad that I agree with everything you said. Not sad that I agree with your opinion but the fact you/we have such an opinion in the first place. Even if it's not as bad you make it sound, it's pretty damn close and that's ridiculous. But ya, genuinely hope there is something more to it than what's going on atm.

All that said, you're also kind of right about the fiancee bit not being an asshole. The only one that I can remember off the top of my head that wasn't, is Konosuba when Darkness had an arranged marriage meeting... It's a parody.

This "mission" is plain sh*t, seriously it's stupidity at the max level. Instead of sharing information with 2 of the most powerful beings on earth, she just assume they couldn't do anything and wouldn't bother asking. If you ask me, this equals 2 things: 1) she doesn't understand sh*t of her friends; and 2) she is too full of herself and try to be a damn hero by "sacrificing" to marriage. My thought? Idiotic heroism is way more annoying than intelligent evilness. Sorry for my bad language, I'm just so pissed off.

I didn't have any expectations for this arc and I'm still disappointed that I was able to completely predict this.

Keep in mind that Oboro is part of the Ryuuga clan (half-sister of the leader) and Karura clan is affiliated with the Yoinozaka.
So Karura cannot do a thing as it would sever the ties her clan have with the Yoinozaka as Oboro would drag the Ryuuga clan into a war with the Yoinozaka, neither are free agents and any actions would have consequences.

Also I spotted the easy way out, Sagari have to be a pure human with no Yokai blood right ... what if she have Yokai blood? Pretty sure the engagement would be off.
