Alvis' first priority is the safety of / loyalty to the kingdom - no matter his sense of justice. And that makes sense.

The most ridiculous thing so far is that the priest decided to simply immobilise and abandon her in the forest instead of directly killing her. There must have been some method of killing her that's both discrete and decisive. Now, him half-assing it is going to result in his undoing later in the future since she's still alive.

I'm super into this premise but it breaks my heart that the kid is going to have to be without and think his mum is dead for two+ years while surrounded by all these scumbags.

(Alvis although he rescued her from being sa-ed still expected her to die so I'm still including him in this group BC if he were a better person he would've at least sent her to a remote village or something).

I just hope Alvis can stop the church from indoctrinating the kiddo, BC it sounds like that was what they tried to do to his mum BC she was awake.
