Thanks for the TL. Glad Kiyo-chan managed to escape the suicidal ideations of that Monkey entity from back in ch. 3-4 and things are starting to get pieced together. I find the idea of a ghost of a God to be very intriguing, like why wouldn't some being that has a strong spirit linger around after death (especially if it's continued to fed/worshipped) even if it weren't human to begin with?

A ghost so large it encapsulates or spiritually submerges the whole neighborhood. Could it be the old river connects to the spot in chapter 8 too
