So... there was a village where all the hero's descendants lived?

Who, then, burned it down? The current failure of a "hero?"

I'm just guessing, here, but... seems legit?

I’m thinking that as well. This chapter feels like it’s heavily hinting that it’s actually Rain who has the bloodline of the first hero.

I get the feeling that his village was burned down as some conspiracy to destroy the threat of the real hero bloodline or to take control of the “hero” narrative for political reasons.

Probably true rain is the true hero, the previous hero probably also a beast tamer.
