The bitch had read his disciple's mind and yet she just realized that the dragon slayer was orn? Bravo! Fantastic writing! Amazing, even! Wow! :dogkek:

Shion is not the one who did the mind-reading.
And the one who did it did not say anything specific, except:
They are students of the Dragonslayer.

The biggest problem though, is Shion keeps denying the Dragonslayer is Orun.
She is so convinced that he is dead.

And for everyone who forgot about it, I suggest you reread CH.17, preferably LurkingTL version.
There are some VERY important informations (hints) in the first half of that chapter.

With everything said, I won't say that what Amunzers did is good, though.
Because, it definitely is not.

Great. Inconsistent murder hobo childhood friend.
Got some vague and unconfirmed information ("dragon killer", "might be affiliated with cult") and one conditional instruction ("if enemy, then kill").
Decides to kill unconditionally because unknown target must be in a cult and an enemy. Ready to kill innocent children because somewhat related to target. All for "the greater good".

And she'll probably get away with it, because something something childhood friend.

There were issues before, and this doesn't give me confidence about the next few chapters.
Maybe I don't need to keep this in my read list.
I'll keep reading, just in case I'm wrong.

Also, mandatory reference...

Yeah I was somewhat under the assumption that she forgot his name or something. Or maybe it was like a "I'll shut off my feelings for the good of the mission." but no... She even talks about him reminding her of, well him and missing the guy... and then figures it out through his face and actions. So like... did this secret organization plan to kill the very public adventurer and not even do a background check? That's just unprofessional. Learn his skills, strengths, weaknesses, and personality first ya dinguses
They aren't supposed to just be trying to kill him, they received very clear instructions to investigate him and make contact, only killing him if he proves to already be hostile. (that was in Ch. 17, btw) They just decided to make contact by attacking his students, so now he's very hostile and they get straight to the killing.
