It's chapter 8 and 6 months have already passed. This is going pretty fast, not that I'm complaining. I'm more surprised the other heroes who were summoned with him are still alive and not already sacrificed offscreen or something. That one dude overheard something, but it remains to be seen if he'll actually rebel.
