She can surpass him? I'm surprised this series has the guts to allow someone else, especially the female lead, to actually be stronger than the male lead. Anyway, it's amusing how the goddess is gonna turn from some kind of puppetmaster into the puppet herself given what he plans to do.

The plot is progressing so quickly it feels like this is getting close to the end, even though it's only Ch. 13 and publication in Japan is still ongoing. With the combined hero dead, the untrustworthy goddess is naturally the next viable antagonist, since I doubt that corrupt king would put up a fight at all, if he doesn't already flee the kingdom once word of his champion's defeat reaches him.
