I didn't know Gash has horns in his hair. This sure is some forgotten setting that was planned for some power-up lol. Maybe future Zeon will grow them now that it is assumed that he grew big like their father.

Edit: after checking wiki and rereading the beginning chap it was actually mentioned before

Oh, keep in mind, this book is OLD lol It came out around the time when the second arc was just starting in the manga, so some older secrets were blown wide open by now.

It was revealed in a different Q&A on Makoto Raiku's blog that the reason Gash has the horns and Zeon does not is because they're a byproduct of inheriting the Baou Zakeruga.

I remember Gash's father has big, majestic horns on his head. I wonder if Gash will develop them when he reaches... 100 years of age?

I have a question: On page 039, the fishmonger says "yellowtail tuna". I was confused by that because Japanese amberjack or yellowtail sushi/sashimi is not tuna. I googled a bit and came cross this article explaining how people might incorrectly say "yellowtail tuna" instead of the correct term "yellowFIN tuna". I'm not sure if it was Makoto-sensei's confusion or not. Just want to share with you.

Thank you very much for the databook! This takes me back to the days. I look forward to the new chapters!

Thank you for pointing this out! Looks like your research is spot-on, so I've gone ahead and updated the page to say "yellowfin" instead. :)

Wow! Thank you for making the effort!

But... may I add, the two pages 38 and 39 are about yellowtail, how Gash likes it best. Why is the fishmonger talks about... yellowfin tuna? Shouldn't it be yellowtail? I just find it strange. Is it from the original text?

(It's just a tiny part of the chapter. I was able to notice it because I really like sushi and sashimi. I don't think I have had such a variety of yellowtail just yet, and definitely haven't eaten buri. I'd love to try one day. I found another fun read about yellowtail here with the size explanation similar to that in the manga, just want to share :D )
