Someone spoiled me that, in the second movie this manga is based on,

Spoiler: Zebraman 2: electric boogalo

The family had abandoned him... for some reason, so i think would be cool if the parents just decided to divorce without holding any ill-feelings against each other instead. While killing a cheating partner is obviously wrong and going too far, cheating is a reason more than fair for separation, regardless of lingering feelings.
