I don't really get it. The original Japanese is really vague too, my guess is that it is a supernatural thing and she did get a red lead, she forgot ahe put a red lead in there or its supposed to be a sorta "y'know you could have died" moments where you only realize something is dangerous after you did it.

yeah it doesn't show it but i expected a twist of her friend knowing that she was looking down on her so she somehow did a slight of hand to where one was put in
