I did find an earlier ch saying the same thing but no bit introducing the “sister”

I did note, however, that some of the comicdom chs have missing pages…

The entire second half of this made very little sense, and yeah missing pages could be the cause, but it could also just be repeated mistranslations as well. Wouldn't be odd for them to get the same line wrong multiple times if making use of machine translations.
