It was a total waist on that ship. MC could have either gone with his brother or gotten there earlier. This is stupid as a plot point. I’m not mad he’s the last minute savior. I’m disappointed because the chapters with the merchant were unnecessary and wasted time a potential points of interesting storytelling.
