I actually kinda dig the "let's become an adventurer" angle, now.
Starting from the very bottom, even if she doesn't have to with her strength, is a fresh way of writing out an overpowered character like this. And it's not like she won't set to rights any asshole who screws with her or those around her along the way, in the meantime.

I use Krita a bit myself (less for image editing and more for the painterly effects though) so thought I'd take a stab at it.
And after poking around a bit I found this:

If you right click the vector layer that is the text and choose Layer styles, you can get something like this with the stroke setting.

Makes it a bit more readable against a busy background, no?

yeah - telling Claude to marry Julie doesn't make sense.

She might look the way she does (mind you she's barely a teenager, unless I missed something in a previous chapter), but she's still got the mind and soul of the old emperor, and was literally Claude's old boss and someone he looked up to with immense respect.

Street gutter. She is scraping leaves and rubbish so the rain and dirty water can flow freely to the sewers.

In the manga, on that panel, I think she is dragging a bag (with the rubbish) after being done, the boxes are probably the grocer's wares.
