you know what? decent one-shot. well paced and paneled with a steady and coherent emotional throughline. there's a bit of looseness to the setting and introduction and some of the jokes fall flat but like, whatever. its well done for the limited pages we get. great first effort and i hope to see the author's growth over time.

I think it could have done with another chapter or two to breathe, and especially to let the mystery build. But if it has to be a oneshot, it's pretty solid for one.

honestly, yeah, fairly solid as a one shot. I think there is potential, if not in this particular concept.

I quite like the idea, though as a one-shot (and likely a pitch for the comic to be serialised) it is a bit lacking - it needed a bit more intrigue or oomph. A mystery to make people want more, or something along those lines.
There's definitely potential here, and the design for the MC is cool.
I'd give this a read, if it does get picked up.
