Came across a chinese store today, all the stuff it sold are just basic shit that already exist in other convenience stores but with chinese text and jacked up prices. But Lao gan ma caught my eye, it's more expensive than local chili oil, but I had to try and see if it's worth the hype. So I went home with a chink in my wallet just because I couldn't resist the curiosity.
The Lao gan ma is good, just not mind blowingly good. As a one and done experience, it's ok. I won't buy it again, too expensive. I'll stick to homemade chilli oil 😁👍.
