Also, while I hate when others use this excuse, he is still a teenager afterall. We can kinda see his thoughts, while he realizes he says and does the opposite of what he wants, that's what an overthinking teen with an abundance of hormones does

Oh god Jun is here, I doubt he will say anything that will reveal anything about Ichitaka's involvement. I hope he's just there to help push him towards understanding his own feelings about Iori.
