I'm aghast that this isn't more popular. Aside from the MC being basically a mary sue, there's just something incredibly comforting about this series. It's like playing a cozy game. I also love acting stories. Reminds me of Glass Mask, haha.

this manhwa is like buying top ingredients, spending time doing a good food presentation and then finding that the food tastes bland.

On top of what minsam said, the early scanlations were absolutely atrocious and killed a lot of the early interest I had in the manhwa, too. I just decided to tough through them on a re-read, and, well, here we are lol

this manhwa is like buying top ingredients, spending time doing a good food presentation and then finding that the food tastes bland.

Personally don't think it's necessarily bland, it's just a cozy, home-cooked meal that wouldn't fit into a popular or high-class restaurant. The ingredients just happen to be high-class, like you said, which does cause a bit of a gap in expectations lol

it's certainly not a fast-food like regressor story, filled with fan service. i really think this story lost it's substance and it's more of a casual story. i just like stories with more stakes and gravitas.

MC looks more and more smug in recent chapters. Like he didn't seem pure at all during the perfume commercial. Or very chilling during the latin scene.

Is that not a conflict of interest? Like, him being the investor basically guarantees him being chosen for the role otherwise the implication is that he'll retract the dough? Oh well whatever, I'm just happy to see him flourishing in his lane.
