This manga's story is really weird, IMHO...

It took place in modern world, but somehow everyone were using medieval equipments to fight enemies, while guns, rifles, machine guns, or even explosives somehow didn't exists.

"Laws of modern physics didn't apply in the dungeons"?

lol, then how could you swing your sword around, or throw your dagger? That's literally using momentum, which is still physics.

I honestly think that this title were first drafted as an isekai, because it's clearly have all the things for it (e.g level-based system, unique skills, status windows, dungeons, guilds, etc), but somehow it changed into modern fantasy setting due to reasons, and they're doing a poor job in the world building...

Japan has very strict gun control laws. But sure let's just throw them all away because Utamaru1707 thinks it doesn't make sense not to use them.

Dungeons in the modern day has been quite a popular fantasy subgenre lately. There have been several manga similar in theme to this one it's not just a "rewritten isekai because reasons"(really creative writing there bud you should write your own book call it whining about shit with half a brain). Also, poor world building? This is literally the first issue you whiny oaf. But hey you don't like it that's fine you know where the door is.

Sometimes they DO justify why "modern weaponry" isn't usable in these settings! I would LIKE to presume Utmaru1707 is a newbie to this specific genre, but I'm going to go with "just a troll asking stupid questions they never expected an answer to, and get off on anyone who DARES try to answer!

I mean look at the fact the bystanders looked at MC like he used a gun to kill a armed bank robber like he's a "criminal" despite just watching him save a kid from getting turned into street Pizza (Guessing the writer is pulling the whole "my people are lemmings so use to the law WORKING that thy lost any decency or common sense in the face of being Insensitive LAWFUL STUPID types! You know the ones who would call the cops on someone who beat up a violent criminal harming somonis just because "it's against the law to hit somebody!)

Sometimes Firearms are used, but their specially made ones that can utilize the same mechanics as Bows and Crossbows! Those makes sense because their usually using a special material that might BREAK if used in certain caliber firearms! Hence only Small Arms fit the bill. And they usually fall under "Awesome but Impractical" because people will usually NOT use exotic options over "Boring but Practical" if they can help it! If that Longsword can do the same job as that "nine-pronged sword" then why use the latter, so many flaws that can get in the way of using it as a practical weapon! You only use EXOTIC shit when you have no CHOICE but to use them or "just to look unique" which in fiction is nice, but real life, you're lowering your survival odds for the sake of "looking cool and edgy!"

.....but but BUT he broke the law right? (Said the Lawful stupid twat who doesn't have the deceny to think "oh ain't that nice he saved that child from becoming street pizza!")

At least the mother was grateful and never once hestiatted to thank him for saving her son (and guessing the hestiation "should we call the police" was "that one guy" who wanted to know if it wa "the popular opinion" to get a guy who broke a law to save a child in trouble because IT'S THE LAW! And he didn't want to be in the minority...... Oh Japan and your Bystander Syndrome LOL)
