I'm guessing that the spirits don't procreate the same way we do? It seems like the fire guy "birthed" his child, since he is taking care of it, and I'm assuming there isn't a female fire spirit around as well.

Though I may be proven wrong as I read further ahead.

From what we've learned in subsequent chapters, it seems like spirits get born with the attributes of one parent or the other, and then get raised by the parent that matches their attribute. So I'm guessing that Cugal has a mother that's some other sort of spirit, but gets raised by his dad because he's a fire spirit.

Are we sure Mil's a snow spirit and not a comfort spirit? She raises the moral and mood of anyone she interacts with.

Cugal really is a little b*tch, jumping someone out of nowhere and rolling them over just to smell them, without even saying anything.

I know it's harsh words to use on a 1 y/o and all, but spirits seem to mature way faster than people, and he already has such a bad attitude I can't help but feel bad for Milfiria, having to deal with such happenings from now on.
