The city of branches used to have a space elevator during the machine civilization, and Hime looks similar to to that soldier in the flashback. Whether those memories belong to Isana from a previous life, or they were just implanted in her, is unclear. Isana doesn't remember her and Frena's parents, and the village elder seemed to treat her special, so her past might go back further than she knows.

Isana doting on Hime when she was eating, and Hime's hugs were both real cute. Right now their relationship feels like Hime is Isana's little sister. I wonder if there will be any romance... Hime would have to mature a little before that could happen.

Hmm... so MC is either extremely different from standard humans at a genetic level (and perhaps cyber augmented) (likely she's what the monotsuki were supposed to be, highly durable/high regenerative factor and with eternal youth/negligible senescence) or she's an Uploaded Intelligence in a bionic body or a clone.
Seems that the elderly shrine maiden that wanted MC locked up and Hime destroyed was the same shrine maiden kid that we just saw.
